Getting ready for Summer!

Summer has been eluding us this year, but that didn't stop us from trying on our Summer outfits!

Shina had been waiting to try out her bright breezy print top with the ink blue purse and I couldn't wait to wear my sea green needle pleat dress.

Scarves, scarves, scarves!!

Scarves are so versatile, they instantly accessorize and add oomph to your outfit! You can wear them in various configurations and the same scarf can feel like a new accessory each time!

See below my favorite red cotton pants from Mango and a simple white tee with different scarfs. Shine has a black crop pants on with a white long linen shirt, I like her style of trying the silk scarf as belt!

Spring!

Spring marks the beginning of a colorful season. Since its still a little chilly and the buds are about to bloom, we decided to mix some bright red floral print with black. Boden, an online retailer, is one of our favorites. Shine is sporting Boden's red and hot pink pants with a textured look (she bought them at a 20% discount) with her classic black jacket (which probably all of us own) with a lovely Alhambra replica chain and Kate Spade shoes. She is a sucker for shoes but never buys anything full price. 

My favorite for this season is fringes. They are flattering and stylish. My kids (2 little girls) kept wondering how on earth did one stitch fringes on a top. The older one already lay claim to it :) I paired the gray top with a pair of ink blue jeans from INC and peach pumps.
